MH Instruments’ New Rumble Road™ 'Ultra' Motorcycle
Speakers
More Than Double Stereo Output of Veteran Line Featuring Built-In Amps — Developers of original Rumble Road™ amplified speakers for motorcycles add best-sounding, most-powerful speakers yet to line of U.S.-made aftermarket audio accessories.
TRABUCO CANYON, CALIF., Feb. 17, 2009 – Powersports electronics manufacturer
MH Instruments Inc. (MHI), developer of the original Rumble Road™ "Premium"
stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers, has introduced Rumble Road™ "Ultra",
a higher-gain, more powerful speaker system that more than doubles the output
of the company's innovative speaker line designed with amplifiers built
into both speakers.
Water-resistant, MHI's Rumble Road™ "Ultra" speakers
install easily on the handlebars of most motorcycle cruisers and work with
most plug-and-play MP3 players, portable FM stereos, and satellite and marine
stereo radios. They also work with CD and cassette players featuring a standard
mini-plug headphone jack.
"Designed specifically for the demanding environments of motorcycles and
other powersports vehicles, Rumble Road™ 'Ultra' delivers more
than twice the stereo output of our groundbreaking 'Premium' amplified
speakers introduced six years ago," said Mauro Dresti, MHI co-founding
partner and product developer. "Our newest offering uses the latest-available
electronics to deliver powerful, clear audio response at 70 true Watts per speaker – 100
Watts peak, for a total peak output of 200 Watts per system," Dresti said. "There's
nothing out there today that can match or beat that for an aftermarket stereo
speaker system that sounds this good even at highway speeds."
Unlike many other aftermarket speaker setups with separate amplifiers, the MHI
Rumble Road™ line of speakers featuring amplifiers housed safely and securely
into both units translates to a very clean, classically retro look. "Our
speaker system blends in perfectly with a bike's overall appearance," Dresti
said. "In fact, second to audio superiority, our customers are most delighted
that Rumble Road™ speakers, housed in standard spotlight shells, don’t
stand out.
"We are proud that our core speaker offerings are designed, developed and
built in the United States," Dresti added. "It's a challenge
to build quality American-made product at a price that is not just competitive
but also affordable to customers in today's economy. But that has always
been our philosophy at MHI," Dresti said. "We offer market-pushing
products that are made in the USA, are reasonably priced and don't look
like awkward add-ons. The only thing more patriotic than making our speakers
would be buying, installing and enjoying them."
MSRP for the chromed pair of Rumble Road™ "Ultra" speakers
with matching clamps and stainless steel grilles is US $369.95. The speakers
are also available in a black powder-coated finish for US $399.95 retail per
pair, including matching clamps in most popular sizes. A complete "Ultraluxe™" kit,
which includes MHI's custom chromed CrankCase™ volume control/power
switch device for 1" handlebars, retails at $499.95. For additional product
